365 Book

Dietwee did the design of the new Identity of the people formerly known as ArboNed. Exactly 365 days after the introduction of the new ID, we helped 365 launch a book. With al the insights and the stuff they learned from the first year. A great book. Have a peak. More here.

During WDCD Tirso, Stijn and me we're invited for an interview on Typeradio. It's not gonna be live for while but it is such a cool thing they do at Typeradio that I'm more than happy to give them a shout.

Coffeeshop 3.0 Hi/Lo

We had serious fun working on this great and unique project we did at Dietwee for a visionary coffeeshop owner. He decided to launch the Coffeeshop into the 21st century. Design, design and more design. We were really happy Workshop of Wonders (who did the fantastic interior) asked us to design the Identity for it.
It is such fantastic project that it got all over the world. News wise. Design wise. Frame wise. More about this project soon at Dietwee.



Free Press Unlimited

It Is probably the most important organization we know. Free Press Unlimited helps journalist world wide bring independent information to people who need it the most. And believe me these journalist work under the most harsh condition thinkable.
We helped Free Press together with Suzanne van Gompel (www.standoutfromthecrowd.nl) with their name, identity , communication and fundraising.
An identity that truly came to live as you can see from all the pictures we got sent. From Congo to Georgia. From the Tahir square to Iraq, Sudan and Syria. And some journalist we can't tell where they work. For their safety. Support this organization. They deserve your help.

Don't read this.

It is the typical ego document. I don't care about ego. Especially not mine. I rather meet up for a good conversation. So we can talk about you. Or about coffee and TV shows. Or your brother and his great new hobby. Very fine with me. In the meantime I have traditional ego stuff presented under this picture.

I am an identity driven idea maker with the capability to move brands forward with effective and creative communication concepts for print and online. I have 10 year experience in developing ID's, concepts and designs for national and international clients such as National Cancer Trust The Netherlands, LG Electronics, Menatwork, Stage Entertainment, De Rotterdam, Mood Media London, Replay, Procter & Gamble Fragrances, O'Neill, Miller Genuine Draft. As a creative director and owner of design and communication agency CATEGORIE 1 I employed and directed a large team of highly skilled and talented people.

ATTENTION: Here ends the ego stuff.
And? Did you like it? Well this text just proofs that I have experience. That I worked really hard the last 10 years . That I am credible because large companies trust me. And that I helped them because there is more than one company who asked me this. One other important thing is that it proofs I'm human, social and probably kind because of the long period of time I worked with clients and my former colleagues on these great projects.

Twitter and Facebook stuff


Social media. What about it. Since all media is kind of social. I try to avoid social media in my social life. I use these tools specifically for my work. Yes, I do feel the social pressure of using these tools. But I'm fighting it for now.Therefor as an experiment I have only one friend on Facebook. And perform some experiments on Twitter.
